My neighbors who are also our long time family friends, recently their mother (an elderly woman of 82 years) had a minor heart stroke and they rushed her to the care hospital whom had initially admitted her for 5 days,After their diagnosis they gave a discharge bill of 2.5 LAKHS FOR 5 DAYS (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? for 5 days of stay they gave them that bill) at this point the family had declined to get her heart stents because from what I've heard they were too expensive (around 20 L ) , now this poor old woman has not to only live with a clogged heart but also cannot get fixed cause she doesn't have a medical insurance to help her! God, this system is terrible!! I just wanted to share this snippit because I thought it was mind boggling that someone had to live in the fear of being unable to afford a surgery let alone barely afford a 5 day stay.

We’ve conceived and are expecting twin babies. I’m currently looking for a good gynecologist and hospital—ideally someone with experience in managing multiple pregnancies—near Banjara Hills for my delivery. Our expected due date is around September–October 2025. I’d really appreciate recommendations for doctors and hospitals that are well-equipped to handle twin deliveries. Also, how crucial is having an in-house NICU in the case of twins? Low chance of future towers blocking views Within ~2-3 mins of a multi-specialty hospital, basically walkable (aging parent with serious heart issues) Reputed Tier 1 builders only Context: I liked Jayabheri Summit Phase 2 (opposite the upcoming Yashoda hospital), but all the ORR-facing units are gone. It feels like a reasonable compromise—affordable, good value, but the design/aesthetics are boring. Loved MyScape Songs of the Sun (near new Medicover), but pricey, views uncertain, possession in 2028. Was aiming for possession by Dec, but open to waiting 1–2 years if it’s really worth it. What other projects should I be looking at?

Hi all, My wife is currently 14 weeks pregnant, we were going ahead with checkups in Hegde fertility Madinaguda coz it was near to our home. They said since it’s a natural pregnancy, they won’t be able to accommodate us anymore coz they are fertility specialists and wanted us to move to any other hospital or their branch in Madhapur for further follow-ups. I believe Madhapur is a bit long considering the traffic and all from our home in Allwyn x road. Hello everyone!! This is very urgent. Can you please suggest which hospital is good for complete recovery Yashoda or apollo. As we are planning to get surgery done for my father. Even though doctors can be good, we want to know where staff are cooperative for complete recovery like ICU, prompt care on time, even on weekends provide care on emergency. Right now we have considered YASHOD SOMAJIGUDA and APOLLO JUBILEE HILLS as they have good neurosurgeons that would treat my father.
