So, we went to a few stores to buy pearl necklace. The first one we visited was Mangatrai and the quality of the pearls was really top notch but they were quite expensive and out of the budget. Then we visited two other stores in Gachibowli which are not that popular. They started by quoting like double the price for the per gram of pearls and the quality was extremely poor. The pearls had big holes and irregularities to which when asked they said they are birthmark of pearls and are common. But I did not find those irregularities in the pearls of Mangatrai. When we confronted them, they directly reduced the price by 55%. This clearly shows they are scamming people. I feel there is no standardised way of selling the pearls. It all depends on how naive you are and how much are you willing to pay for the piece of jewellery.

My parents are born in Hyderabad, but we shifted to another state . Back then, the local politicians and their chamchas used to come for registration of voter ID, and they wrote my father's and mother's last name as 'Hyderabadwala'. Now, 'Hyderabadwala' is not our last name, obviously. we were not informed nor we received the voter ID cards. Anyways, we shifted back to Hyderabad for good, and here, we got our new proper Voter Cards made and submitted surrender application of old voter ids in 2015. Now, obviously, our correct names is not present in the 2002 voter list. but incorrect names of our old voter IDs are there. Now, As far as I understand, we cannot refer to these names in SIR because we have no name change process documents like gazette notification, court order or any linking documents of the old names and the new names and it can be a discrepancy. And my grandparents, were also dead many decades ago I think the best way is to use no mapping at all. Just write our current voter ID details. And when they call us for appeal because of the unmapped SIR, we can take our passports and we are counting on it. Not really sure if this is the right way, but if you have any better suggestions, please tell. Thank you, appreciate it.

We are looking for a house with private corridor kind of units, real useable balconies, good carpet area ratio and spacious projects (like My home Tridasa/Vipina/Udyan projects i.e, like 15-20 acres or more), handover in next 3-4 years.. Went through almost all projects in west, and I had to reject few projects listed below- Prestige Golden Grove - very nice payment plan personally for me, but coming at almost 10k per sft all inclusive, felt not worth for that area..- My Home Udyan - Nice project plans, specs and typical my home layout ofcourse, but adjacent railway track is a sure an issue to live in future.- Anvita High9/Ivana - Specs looks great on paper, but somehow not convinced with floor plans.. Rest all other projects nearby are smaller than these in overall size and not going with those based on family preferences.. So I happened to visit the Rajapushpa Sierra.. somehow it looked good for me, in terms of overall project layout (21acres, 9 towers, 8 flats per floor, with 8 lifts+service lift).. and for 2100sft with the carpet area is 77% (i.e 1622sft) and being the corner and kind of private corridor layout .. Price wise similar to My home Udyan at 7500 per sft base price (with negotiaion a bit that I did not try).. Is it a good project to consider for purely end use ? That being part of lifestyle city, makes any difference ? how is the builder credibility, construction quality, and am ok with tolerating a bit of delays in handover..

Everyone says Hyderabad is the “City of Pearls” but the real question is: where do you buy the genuine ones without getting scammed? I’ve heard about shops around Charminar, Laad Bazaar, and Basheerbagh, but also that many places sell fakes or low-quality pearls mixed in. Some friends suggested Mangatrai or Krishna Pearls for authenticity, but I’m not sure if those are just the touristy spots with high markups. Has anyone here actually bought pearls in Hyderabad? Which shops are trustworthy? How do you check if the pearls are real? Are prices negotiable or pretty standard? Would love some insider tips before I go shopping.

Hey hyderabadi people's I want to gift real pearls earrings or necklace (if budget allow) to my sister on this Rakhi . I have no idea about pearls like what to buy where to buy . If any of you have idea about this please help and my budget is around 1500-2000  I'm just a student okay this all coming from my savings , ohhh here arises the another question do I get anything at real at this budget or is it too low . My boss has come to hyderabad a few days ago, he wants to buy pearl jewellery in a cheap rate rather than going to a jewellery shop and buy it there.. Can anyone give me suggestions for this so that I can give him the information about it?. Thank you so much in advance
